TL;DR:MetaTags is a client-side tool. We don't collect, store, or sell your data. AI generation sends your prompt to OpenRouter — read their policy for details.
1. What we collect
MetaTags does not collect personal data. All form inputs (title, description, URL, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.
2. AI generation
When you use the “Generate with AI” feature, your prompt text is sent to OpenRouter via our API route. OpenRouter processes this request using the configured AI model. Please review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your data. We do not log, store, or retain any prompt content on our end.
3. Cookies
We do not use cookies or local storage for tracking. Your browser may cache static assets (JS, CSS) as part of normal HTTP caching — this is standard browser behavior and contains no personal information.
4. Third-party services
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses and user agents for security and abuse prevention. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details. No other third-party services are used.
5. Children's privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
